PRODUCT DETAILS
30 X 20 X 2”

This is The Board of all Board Sizes. This beast is made in order for you to take some big ole cuts and have plenty of room to serve a big party.

WOODS USED

Black Walnut: dark brown – black
Cherry: red tone
Hard Maple: lightest – ivory, maple tone

GRAIN

Edge Grain: Long-running grains. Beautiful running grains. A little lower maintenance.
End Grain: extra step in the build to face grains up. This helps keep knives sharper longer and has healing properties from cut marks over time. Great option when you use high-end knives. A little higher maintenance.

TURN AROUND TIME

We estimate 12 Weeks. However these are handmade one at a time. We watch how the wood acclimates through the build. Sometimes late in the process we need to replace parts to ensure it is built just right. Because of this and other factors involved in hand making these please allow up to 12 weeks to receive. This is not our goal and we try hard to get them out as fast as possible while still maintaining our high quality standard. Email us regarding rush options as well.

ENGRAVING

We do this with a CNC machine. We offer your logo, name or message that can be filled with food safe epoxy. This epoxy has a pearled effect that really makes it pop. Or you can choose engrave only and keep the wood grain at the center of the piece. If you choose engrave only we engrave with a special bit that is V shaped and slightly less deep to allow for easy clean up after your cook.

ADDITIONAL ENGRAVING such as your logo, name or message can be added for additional cost. Option to fill with colored epoxy of your choice or engraved shallow with a V bit for easy clean and care. Engraving add-no’s will receive a mockup for approval before cutting. Each order gets one modification; additional changes after will result in a $5.00 fee per update.

Wood is always a more solid, secure substance – please know that over time, epoxy resin will take a good hit when using sharp knives & to please select your placement wisely. If you are purchasing for restaurant use, we suggest leaving off all engraving.

We build blocks for the griller! We spend a lot of time researching the best woods, sizes and options for the Pit Master. We are a made in America family business and we have a pit of our own! We ensure these blocks are made with pristine quality are hand-made one at a time. We also offer customization for your logo or name!

*All hardwoods vary in color, producing the lightest to darkest in their specific field. Each block is unique and no two are the same. Please understand that while the overall pattern will be similar to your choice, the wood color & grains presented will vary. This is solely dependent on our supply and the slab of wood pulled for your block. We do not control the overall color variation or grain pattern provided to us by the lumber. We simply build blocks & stand by each one in quality. Please know that the variations of each board outcome out numbers our ability to show in a single listing. You are welcome to reach out to our team for possible variations for each block pattern. Where knots prevent themselves black epoxy resin may be used to secure the location.
